Engagement Model

A Structured, Phase-Based Approach

MET Project Management operates on a clearly defined, phase-based engagement model.

Projects may involve multiple stages, from early feasibility through approvals, pre-construction, construction administration, and close-out. Clients may engage us for a single phase or multiple phases, depending on project requirements.

Each phase is:

  • Clearly scoped prior to commencement
  • Defined in writing
  • Structured with agreed deliverables
  • Independently priced

This ultimately provides clarity, accountability, and transparency from the outset.

Scope Definition

Promote current deals

Scope Definition

Before engagement, we define:

1. The specific services to be performed

2. The project phase covered

3. Deliverables included

4. Exclusions

5. Fee structure

Any services outside the agreed scope are treated as variations and must be confirmed in writing prior to proceeding.

This approach ensures expectations are aligned and responsibilities are clearly understood.

Advisory Role

Promote current deals

Scope Definition

MET Project Management acts strictly as an  project advisor and administrative coordinator.

We do not undertake:

  • Design services
  • Certification services
  • Construction works
  • Superintendent roles
  • Statutory compliance declarations

All third-party consultants, builders, and contractors are engaged directly by the Client.

Our role is to coordinate, structure, and administratively manage the process not to assume statutory or construction responsibility.

Client Responsibilities

Fees are structured per phase and confirmed prior to engagement.

Depending on project requirements, engagements may be:

  • Fixed fee per phase
  • Milestone-based staged payments
  • Hourly advisory (where applicable)
  • Retainer-based coordination (where agreed)

Invoices are issued in accordance with the agreed fee schedule.

Client Responsibilities

The Client remains responsible for:

  • Appointing and contracting all third-party consultants and contractors (We can provide required contacts, if needed)
  • Design and construction outcomes
  • Site safety and statutory compliance
  • Obtaining independent legal, financial, and technical advice where required

This ensures appropriate allocation of responsibility in line with regulatory and contractual frameworks.
